Mrs. James Thomas received a message Monday telling her of the death of her brother, Nathan a. Graves, following an emergency operation Saturday evening. Nathan Graves was born in the Youngs Chapel neighborhood, the son of David and Elizabeth Graves September 15, 1869. He moved to this vicinity while still a young man. In 1897 he moved to Carrington, ND where he lived untill his death. On October 31, 1901, he was united in marriage to Miss Myra Hollister of Austin, Minnesota. Two sons, Lester and Albert were born to this union. The deceased was a member of the Methodist Church and also the governing board of the church. SUrviving are the widow, two sons, and two sisters, Mrs. Eliza Horney of Carrington, ND and Mrs. James Thomas of this place. Funeral services were held yesterday in Carrington and burial took place there. -- kbz (thanks muches to the lovely lady, JoAn Oppy)
